I'm Cameron Airen, a Feminist Podcaster, Writer, Facilitator, Teacher and Consultant.
Welcome to Real Feminist Stories Podcast and Blog about "everyday" feminists doing amazing things and creating conversations around intersectional feminism.
I created Real Feminist Stories Podcast and Blog because I want to elevate the voices that have been left out and are not often heard. Real Feminist Stories provides a platform to diverse "everyday" voices from an intersectional feminist approach. Real Feminist Stories aims to share stories, raise important questions, and create engaging conversations.
You'll find interviews and features with amazing feminists doing amazing things, creating conversations in relation to intersectional feminism, and my own personal feminist stories.
I offer consulting services to help teachers, coaches, facilitators, healers, entrepreneurs, and leaders integrate their feminist social justice values into their everyday lives and work. I help you get clear on your activism strengths and connect your passions to social justice. If this resonates with you and you are looking for support, then let's connect. Visit me here to find out more and to schedule time with me. I would love to support you in the kind of change you're meant to create in this lifetime.
Are you a coach/healer/leader/therapist/teacher/etc who believes that personal and social liberation are interconnected, and want to learn how to integrate the two more in your work, business, and everyday life?
My friend, Andréa Ranae Johnson, are facilitating a 10-week unique program to help you do just that called, Coaching As Activism! If this is resonating with you at all so far, check out the full details here. Registration ends April 2nd, 2017!
I want to encourage you to engage with these stories. Got a question? Please ask it! Want to start a dialogue that relates to one of the stories? Please offer your questions, feelings and thoughts. Feeling inspired by or validated from a story you read? Please share what moved or resonated with you in the comments. I would love to hear from you!

I received my masters degree in Anthropology and Social Change from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. I received my B.A. in Women and Gender Studies from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. One of my biggest passions in life is listening to diverse feminists tell their stories and sharing those stories. My writing and interviews have been featured in The Huff Post, BUST magazine, GirlTalkHQ, Bitch Flicks, and American Ninja Warrior Nation.
In addition, I love dissecting women and gender in film and television, traveling, supporting other feminists in listening to their intuition and in their personal and social liberation, and being creative in the kitchen. I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 8.5 years. Now, I'm living nomadically, but am mostly in California. You can read more about my journey here.
